Climb Theatre

UX Research & Design

Project Summary

The intent of this project was to collect findings and recommend changes to the website to further enhance the usability and transparency. My team discovered through our research that users had a different mental model of the navigation on the website compared to its intended uses and we each created our own reports on those findings.

My Role

I conducted an interview and reported my research findings along with my group who observed the interactions I had with my client and documented their findings.

Usability Test Planning

My team and I discussed over the contents which we found on the website. We took these contents and created scenarios in which the participants would envision theirselves as a teacher

Usability Test Script & Interviewing Process

Using the script that we created, we discussed over which sessions we would be assigned to and scheduled a zoom meeting with the participants whilst the remaining members of my group were moderating remotely in a separate room to take notes.
My teammate, Hammed Junior, was moderating an interview while my other teammates and I wrote down our findings and observations.

Heuristic Analysis

After my team and I conducted the interviews we digitized our notes we had taken and archived them into a website called Trello. We labeled the data with the corresponding participants we interviewed and we categorized them into common themes we noticed from the notes we took during the interviewing sessions.
This image details the notes we took during the sessions and the raw data we worked with to conduct a findings report

Findings & Recommendations Report

Based off of my findings, I created a report and visualized the solutions to the problems the participants had during the interview.

Visualized Recommendations

I created a prototype with some modifications to the original layout of the website to present a visualized version of the recommendations I discovered from my research process.
